Abstract

The objective of the present work is the study and comparison of the criteria for conformity and acceptance of the EHE (1), EN206-I (2) and ACI 318 (3) series of standards, which are in use in Spain, the European Community, the US and many Latin-American countries. As such, the paper starts with a conceptual differentiation of the conformity and acceptance criteria of each standard. The results of this analysis are operating characteristic curves for each respective standard that allow for the practical application and comparison of both types of criteria. The study ends with a number of conclusions that have been derived from the previous analysis.
