Se describa un nuevo método empleado, en la Pacific Cay Products Co. (Los Ángeles), para la fabricación de este tipo de tubos. Se han separado las dos operaciones de axtrusión del tubo y de formación del manguito. La producción es mucho mayor que empleando el método corriente.
