This paper describes how fly ashes which are not prescribed by the standards can be used in the manufacturing of concrete blocks. To implement this proposal it was necessary to do tests of the constitutive materials of the blocks, and block tests. The objective of these tests is to obtain the optimum blocks. This paper presents these tests and its main results.
