In the present report the author, as the Spanish representative member in the meetings of the Europe-Asia-Afriqua Scientific Committee organizing the 8th International Congress on the Chemistry of Cements, which sponsored by Brazil will take place in Rio de Janeiro, July 1986, describes the course of the second committee meeting, for general information directed to the Spanish and Latin-American scientific and technical people interested in the theme. On the matters treated in the first committee meeting the 14th September 1981 it was reported by the author in the technical reviews MATERIALES DE CONSTRUCCIÓN (lETCC) No. 83 (Jul-Aug-Sep 1981) pp. 5-14 and CEMENTO-HORMIGON No. 579 (Feb 1982) pp. 146-158.
