Arena de fundición y escoria granulada de alto horno en hormigón autocompactante: caracterización reológica y comportamiento tixotrópico

El sector de la construcción pretende mejorar la eficiencia y minimizar el uso de cemento Portland debido al impacto ambiental. El hormigón autocompactante (SCC), una opción sostenible, puede utilizar materiales de desecho como sustitución de los originales. Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo estudiar el comportamiento reológico del SCC incorporando arena de fundición (WFS) y escoria granulada de alto horno (GGBFS) como reemplazo parcial del árido fino y del cemento hasta un 60% en masa, respectivamente. Las propiedades del hormigón fresco se obtuvieron mediante mediciones reológicas usando un diseño factorial. Este mostró que el esfuerzo de fluencia dinámico disminuyó a medida que aumentó la concentración de partículas WFS, mientras que adicionar partículas GGBFS exhibió un comportamiento no lineal. El único factor que influyó en la viscosidad plástica fue la presencia de partículas WFS. Según el método ruptura, WFS y su efecto combinado con GGBFS impactan la tixotropía de l as mezclas.
